IN A CABIN WITH TRADITIONALS ALBUM
We are proud to present the next In A Cabin With album. In cooperation with the video project Onder Invloed we've recorded this album in the summer of 2009. The album will be released on the 18th of April and is available in the webstore of In A Cabin With's website.
All songs on this album are so-called traditionals. Traditional songs are songs from unknown authors, mostly because they're so old and transmitted through an oral tradition. A lot of these songs were later made famous by musicians like Woody Guthrie and Bob Dylan.
CANADA RECORDING SESSION (IN A CABIN WITH)
On January 17 Marien Dorleijn, David Pino and Maarten Besseling will travel to Ottawa Canada to record a new album in a forest in the middle of nowhere, north of Ottawa. In A Cabin With is very thrilled to record an album in canada for the second time. The album Steye & The Ottowanians was recorded in 2008.
Possible local musicians who will come over to join the recordings are: Julian Brown (Feist) and Graham Walsh (Holy Fuck) and at the moment we are still in need of a Canadian drummer but we are sure we will manage. Check out the In A Cabin With website regularly for a blog, pics and videos.
